昨夜のごはんで残ったトウモロコシ。

Here I have a leftover corn from last night dinner.

粒を芯から削いで。

Scrape corn kernel from cob.

お米と一緒に炊飯器に入れて、普通に炊きます。

And put both in the rice cooker with rice, and add water as same as normal rice cooking.

じゃじゃん!

Tada-!

私の子供の大好物のもろこしおにぎり。完成。

My daughter’s favorite corn onigiri is done.

これだけでもおいしいんだけど。ちょっと時間のあるときは、もうひとひねり。

Sometimes, I want to add some more flavors to the onigiri.

しょうゆとみりんを両面に塗って。

So I brush the mixture of soy sauce and Mirin on both sides of the corn onigiri.

フライパンで軽く焦げ目がつくくらい焼きますと。

And pan fry both side until a bit browned.

じゃじゃん!!!

Tada-!!!!

焼きもろこしおにぎりでございます。

Yaki-corn-onigiri is also my daughter's favorite.

お弁当に入れるときは、おにぎりと海苔はわけて入れて、海苔はパリッと派。

When I pack onigiri for her, I separate nori seaweed from onigiri to preserve the  crunchiness of nori.
